On our trip up Snoqualmie Pass we took the hike to Franklin Falls. The falls can be reached from the Denny Creek Campground. The hike follows along the river and it climbs 400 feet in one mile. It is a two mile round trip. You can take the Old Wagon Road instead of the riverside hike.

 

In the winter it is even more spectacular.

I had no idea there was a water fall thereā€¦.but when you wrote 400 feet rise in one mile, I looked to see if there was another trail!!! And there is (or was). Note no rise, and just a short stroll. Fit for 77 years olds. :)

You are correct Dave, the arrow on your map points to the shortcut to the falls. From that point it is just a stroll.
